Zurich UK Life has appointed Neil Evans as its chief financial officer on a permanent basis.
Evans had been acting as CFO on an interim basis since June following the departure of Dan Pender. Pender has since moved to Prudential as commercial and capital director.
Evans has been with Zurich for 25 years, during which time he has run accounting, actuarial, investments and business performance management teams.
Zurich UK Life chief executive Gary Shaughnessy says: “Neil has a wealth of experience and his understanding of Zurich is second-to-none. He has performed excellently as interim CFO and it is with great pleasure that we have made his position a permanent one.”
