The launch, which is the next step in Zurich’s reviewing pensions fairly campaign, aims to make it easier for advisers who want to change a client’s pension plan following a review.
The phone service offers a point of contact for those advisers who need updates or assistance throughout the transfer or new business process.
Pensions management director Dave Lowe says: “Recent FSA publications only go to show how many factors need to be considered when reviewing pensions. We are determined to help advisers through this process and encourage more reviews to be completed.
“We will deal with the transferring scheme if they would like us to, chase up any outstanding information and notify the adviser of any problems. A transfer can take months and we will pursue it every step of the way.”
