Zurich has launched a free mobile application that allows advisers to track the progress of protection applications.
The M-Office app provides key information on applications including progress so far and what steps need to be taken to complete the application.
Advisers are shown a summary screen to help them prioritise their pipeline cases, and can customise features based upon their own processes.
Cases can be filtered to show how many have been submitted, issued, declined or postponed.
Advisers with lots of pipeline cases can also search against specific client data to filter through to particular applications. Where the policy is just awaiting a start date, advisers can activate this via the app.
Advisers can see full case details and view a list of outstanding requirements and whether these are the adviser’s or Zurich’s responsibility to complete.
Finance & Technology Research Centre director Ian McKenna says: “This is a great app which delivers excellent functionality to advisers and paraplanners. It is a first class example of how insurers can use the app ecosystem to provide instant access to key information whenever advisers need it.”
