Zurich Financial Services chief wins award

Zurich Financial Services chief executive officer Sandy Leitch has won the Business In The Community&#39s &#39Prince of Wales Ambassador Award&#39.


Leitch picked up the award for his work for charity. It is in recognition of his outstanding leadership and commitment to corporate social responsibility.


He was presented the award by Prince Charles.


Leitch says: &#34I believe passionately that we all have a moral obligation, a social responsibility to the communities in which we live and work.


&#34Companies do not and must not operate in a vacuum. We must give something back, to enrich, to improve the communities of which we are all part.&#34


Leitch has served as deputy chairman and leadership chairman of BITC since 1996. He is also chairman of Sane the mental health charity.
