Zifa Pep switch plan is linked up to 59 funds

Zurich IFA is offering a Sterling Pep transfer plan to add to its investment bond and Isa products.

The multi-manager plan provides access to 59 funds from 16 UK fund managers, including Gartmore, Threadneedle and Schroders. New funds from Artemis, Fidelity and Framlington have also been added to the sterling range this month.

Initial charge is 4.75 per cent. Initial commission is 4 per cent. Trail commission is 0.5 per cent but can be forfeited for a higher initial commission of 6.25 per cent. Several of the funds also have additional up-front charges of up to 0.75 per cent. The annual charge is up to 0.75 per cent but is cheaper for investors holding Threadneedle funds and falls for higher investments.

Minimum transfer is £2,000.

As well as flexible withdrawal and switching options, the plan also has a minimum return on death policy, whereby Sterling will pay out the initial amount invested minus withdrawals, even if the value of the fund has fallen.

Zifa investment marketing director Sandra Lymburn says: “As an IFA-only company, Sterling listens to what IFAs have to say and develops products based on their feedback.”
