Young takes over Sesame role as Bryant quits

Sesame commercial director Charles Bryant is to join Deutsche Bank as a director within its European Technology Group.

Sales director Steve Young becomes the network’s new sales and marketing director and takes responsibility for the commercial function, including provider relations.

Young joined Sesame in 2002 after 14 years at Halifax, latt- erly as head of communications.

Bryant joined Sesame in 1999, becoming chief executive of Sesame Technology in 2003. He became Sesame commercial director and led the launch of its multi-tie, Sesame Direct. He was also chairman of Assure-web until the portal was sold in June. He worked for investment management firms BZW and Credit Suisse First Boston between 1992 and 1999.

Bryant says: “It was always my intention to return to inv- estment banking.”
