Yorkshire Building Society is launching a new 10-year fixed rate mortgage at 4.69 per cent.
The deal will be available in branch, online and by telephone from Friday January 27.
Interest is charged daily, and loans are available up to 95 per cent LTV. ASU insurance is included free for the first six months.
There is a 495 fee on the mortgage, but borrowers looking for a long-term fixed rate without fees can choose Yorkshires 4.99 per cent fee-free 10-year fixed rate.
Yorkshire Building Society mortgage development manager David Heshon says: In the current low interest rate environment there seems to be a growing demand for longer term fixed rates. The new 10 year rate of just 4.69 per cent is the lowest ten year fixed rate we have ever had, and this, together with the flexibility it offers, is likely to make the new mortgage very attractive to anyone looking for long term security and value.
