Yorkshire Building Society launches new savings bond

Yorkshire Building Society is launching a new one-year savings bond paying a rate of 4.75 per cent for a limited period.

The bond also guarantees to always pay 0.25 per cent above the Bank of England base rate, and requires a minimum investment of £100.

Yorkshire Building Society savings product manager Chris Edwards says: “This new bond is aimed at investors who wish to save their money for a period of at least a year in return for a guaranteed rate of interest.”
