Minimum-maximum investment: £5,000-£500,000.

Interest rates: 7.25 per cent gross a year, 7.02 per cent gross a month.

Term: Until August 31, 2002.

Withdrawal penalties: One withdrawal of up to 25 per cent of the balance without penalty until August 31, 2002.
