Yorkshire Building Society has cut the rates on its fixed rate deals by up to 0.5 per cent for direct customers.
The range includes a 2.99 per cent two-year fixed rate at 75 per cent loan-to-value, down 0.50 per cent from 3.49 per cent, which is available for a fee of £1995.
It also includes a two-year fixed rate at 4.99 per cent, down 0.40 per cent from 5.39 per cent, at 90 per cent LTV for a fee of £1995. There is also 5.49 per cent two-year fixed rate at 90 per cent LTV, which has been reduced by 0.2 per cent from 5.69 per cent.
Offset versions of these products are also available at 90 per cent LTV with rates starting from 5.09 per cent.
The products come with a free valuation and legal service.
Group direct mortgage manager Chris Smith says: “We believe that this current range does really offer something for everyone. We have listened to the needs of our customers and these new products are a response to that.”
