The chief executive of adviser business Wren Sterling has quit months after completing a management buyout.

Warren Page led the business, then known as Towergate Financial, following its March MBO, backed by Palatine Private Equity.

Ian Darby, who was previously chief executive before departing in 2011, and was reinstated as chairman after its MBO, has replaced Page.

Darby says: “Warren led Wren Sterling through the buyout from Towergate and having successfully got the MBO across the line, led the rebranding to Wren Sterling and with the new leadership team in place, decided that the time was right for him to move on to his next challenge.

“Importantly Warren leaves the business in great shape and poised for an exciting future with significant growth and potential”.
