Women wanted for the third Wig annual award

Entries are open for this year&#39s IFA Woman of the Year award.

The Women&#39s IFA Group award is now in its third year and recognises the growing success of women IFAs, with entrants judged on technical proficiency, applied knowledge, communication and understanding of industry issues Nominations close on September 30 and entries close on October 14. Candidates can complete an entry form online at www.womensifagroup. co.uk.

The award will be presented at a gala dinner in January 2005. Part of the prize is a luxury holiday for two at a Mediterranean spa hotel Last year&#39s winner Pearson Jones associate director Yvonne Goodwin says: “The fact that this recognition cannot be bought improved my self-confidence and has raised my ambitions and expectations for my career. I have met industry leaders and made new friends.”

Wig founder and chairwoman Fiona Price says, “The IFA Woman of the Year Award is a celebration of success for women IFAs. It really showcases what women can do in our sector. The calibre of entrants is extremely high and everyone benefits from entering.”
