Winterthur weaves website for advisers

Winterthur Life is extending and updating the service it offers to IFAs by launching a new dedicated website.

The site, winterthur ifa.co.uk, gives IFAs a database of Winterthur&#39s pension funds.

This features fund prices, perfor mance figures for other fund management groups as well as specific funds and interactive charting.

Advisers will have access to a resource library of facts, technical information and forthcoming legislation details. Interactive calculators are also available to calculate potential minimum and maximum client income under drawdown and carry out a Government Actuary&#39s factor search.

A search facility is designed to answer advisers&#39 queries. More complex questions can be answered by email or by phone. The site took four months to develop following res earch among advisers.

Sales and marketing director Mike Kellard says: “We want to give advisers 24/7 access to practical infor mation to ass ist them in their dayto-day dealings.

“Further features and information will be added to the site. We would welcome feedback and suggestions from advisers. The site will sit alongside Winterthur&#39s existing e-services, and will take us one step closer to full e-business integration.”
