Winterthur Life launches with profits bond

Winterthur Life has launched a With Profits Bond, that will invest up to 90% of the fund in equities to generate high growth. It offers an annual bonus rate of 6.25 per cent and has a minimum investment of £5,000.

External fund managers will manage all equity investments – Newton and Deutsche Asset Management have initially been appointed as active fund managers and Barclays Global Investors will manage the passive Multinational and UK Index elements. Fund managers will be analysed quarterly by the Winterthur Life Investment Committee and replaced if they consistently underperform.
