Winterthur Life UK is strengthening its adviser service by recruiting three new business development managers.

Russell Anderson joins from Scottish Life. He was previously an IFA for Sedgwicks and Frizzells. Anderson will be responsible for supporting IFAs in Northern Ireland.

David Arthur joins the company from Standard Life, where he spent five years in financial consultancy and intermediary business teams, following a career in the retail industry. Arthur will be responsible for a panel of intermediaries in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Don Provan is joining from Prudential, which he joined in 2001 after spending eight years as a broker consultant for Friends Provident. Provan will be responsible for IFA in South Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales.

Winterthur Life UK sales director David Thompson says: “The latest business development manager appointments add to a series of roles created to develop Wint-erthur Life’s adviser support services this year.
