William Russell launches discounted group life and income plans for expats

William Russell has launched discounted corporate life insurance and income protection plans for small expat employers.

The firm is offering a 10 per cent discount on its global life and global income protectionn group plans for groups of up to 19 expatriate employees and five per cent for groups of three to nine employees. Both schemes offer streamlined administration and immediate life cover of up to £65,000 per employee and £23,400 annual disability benefit without medical underwriting.

Cover can start immediately on receipt of the corporate and employee application forms and the premium subject to employees being actively at work on their commencement date. Applications for cover in excess of these limits will be individually underwritten.

William Russell sales director James Cooper says: “Companies with expatriate employees need to be able set up protection plans for their staff quickly and easily – that’s why we have streamlined the application process for our new small group schemes.

“We’ve also added generous free cover limits to ensure that cover can be available immediately and we’ve rewarded smaller companies by offering discounted premiums for employers with as few as three expatriate staff.”
