Widows peek

Members of the industry were recently invited to an event held by Scottish Widows at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London to meet the Widows to mark the 20th anniversary of the cloaked icon.

As protection marketing manager Nick Kirwan introduced Amanda Lamb, the Widow who was recently replaced by Hayley Hunt, he pointed out that this was the first time that any of the Widows were allowed to speak. “Oh yes, we talk and eat and everything” replied Lamb. Investment hack extraordinaire Kieron Root (above) is appearing as Topol in Fiddler On The Roof. However, the Diary believes that Kieron might be better off calling it Beard On The Roof, given his enormous facial adornment which he has let sprout for the part.
