Unbiased.co.uk has announced the winners of this year’s Media Adviser Awards with financial adviser of the year picked up by Addidi Wealth managing director Anna Sofat.
The tenth annual Media Adviser Awards were presented in London last night in recognition of the work done by Bluebook media advisers to promote the value of advice.
Each of the categories were judged by a panel of journalists, providers and industry specialists, led by unbiased.co.uk chief executive Karen Barrett.
The judges’ award for outstanding contribution went to Invest Southwest managing director Dave Penny and the Bluebook newcomer was awarded to Principal Financial Solutions director Christopher Daems.
Money Marketing head of news Natalie Holt was awarded trade article of the year.

Social media adviser of the year: Jacksons Wealth Management managing director Pete Matthew
Young financial adviser of the year: Pavilion Financial Services chartered financial planner Claire Walsh
Value of advice ambassador: Carematters head of care fee planning Lorreine Kennedy
Estate planning adviser of the year: Hargreaves Lansdown head of financial planning Danny Cox
Value of advice article of the year: The Mail on Sunday’s Jeff Prestridge
Consumer article of the year: Holly Thomas, writing for The Sunday Times
Investment article of the year: The Times’ Mark Atherton
Pensions article of the year: Esther Shaw, writing for The Independent On Sunday
Mortgage article of the year: Melanie Wright, writing for The Observer
