Whitechurch signs Eden

The Whitechurch Network is taking on 65 advisers from directly authorised IFA firm Eden Personal Financial Planning.

The firm will join the network as an appointed representative next month, bringing Whitechurch’s total membership to 225 individuals.

Managing director Ian McIver says the deal reflects that an increasing number of firms are coming under pressure due to the economic climate and are opting to outsource compliance.

He says: “We are experiencing a large increase in membership enquiries. In this economic climate, adviser firms need to concentrate on business development and maintaining client contact.”

An Eden spokesman says: “This allows us to concentrate on developing the business and focus on our clients, advisers and future growth.”
