WHEB launches new sustainability fund

WHEB Asset Management has launched a sustainability fund focusing on the three megatrends of water, climate change and demographics.

The fund is managed by Clare Brook and Nicola Donnelly who together have over 30 years investment experience in the environmental space.

It will invest globally giving investors exposure companies that provide solutions to water resource shortages, climate change and an ageing population.

WHEB has been formed as a sister company to WHEB Ventures, the clean technology focused venture capital firm.

WHEB Ventures founding partner Ben Goldsmith says: “The creation of WHEB Asset Management could not be timelier. We are fortunate to have persuaded such leading lights of this industry as Clare Brook and Nicola Donnelly to join the WHEB team.”

Play the flip side of the claim game

Years ago, we had a set of coasters in our home decorated with sage statements along the lines of “A fool and his money are soon parted.” This is probably the element of the phrase that most people remember but when you flipped the coasters over, they gave you the balance of the phrase which in this case was “How did they get together in the first place?”. Without its contradictory segment, it loses its meaning and purpose.
