Unum is sponsoring a series of 25 guides published by the Employers Forum on Disability.

This sponsorship is part of Unum&#39s New Beginning campaign, set up in March to raise the profile of issues affecting disabled employees.

The papers give employers advice and guidance on subjects such as adjustments that employers should make to accommodate visually impaired workers, people with mental health problems and other conditions, including diabetes.

Unum chairman Lawrence Churchill says: “Achieving greater social and economic participation for disabled people is an aim shared by the entire nation and one which has been given legislative underpinning through the Disability Discrimination Act.”
