Wells Street Journal: What next for the Lifesearch crooner?

Mustachioed Lifesearch boss Tom Baigrie has long had to suffer tiresome comparisons with US actor Tom Selleck and more recently Daniel Day-Lewis’s power-hungry mineral prospector Daniel Plainview in There will be Blood.

But perhaps a fairer comparison is Welsh-crooner Tom Jones, given recent events. It has come to our attention that a female delegate fainted at the recent Lifesearch Awards when Baigrie took to the stage. The unidentified woman was helped to her feet and has since recovered fully from the emotional experience of seeing her idol in the flesh. This just months after Baigrie’s jaw-dropping performance of Simple Minds’ Don’t You Forget About Me led a rush to the dancefloor at the advice firm’s charity night.

The Wells Street Journal can only speculate on which items of female clothing will be thrown next time he takes to the stage.
