Website offering Twenty20 vision of fund performance

Friends Ivory & Sime has set up a website to give up-to-date information on the performance of its Twenty20 investment portfolio.

Twenty20 combines the fund manager&#39s three smaller-company investment trusts – the Aim, Discovery and Ivory & Sime UK smaller companies trusts.

Investments made through the portfolio are split equally between the three trusts. This enables investors to encompass all levels of smaller-company investment from firms listed on the Alternative Investment Market to fledgling companies and small caps.

The website, at, has sections for IFAs and consumers. Advisers are offered access to sales aids, sample mailing letters and reasons why letters as well as information on charges and commission.

For consumers, the site features product details, monthly updated performance information, downloadable application forms and product brochures.

The fund specifically targets companies that have the potential to become the blue chips of 2020. Although not a pure technology portfolio, it is biased towards the new economy, giving exposure to the technology, media and telecommunications sector but avoiding dotcoms.

Marketing director John Yule says: “Twenty20 offers the investor exposure to some of the fastest growing and entrepreneurial smaller companies in the UK while reducing some of the risks that are normally associated with that type of stock.”
