Webline, IFAEngine, Cofunds on Unipass

IFA portals Webline and IFAEngine and fund supermarket Cofunds have gone live with Origo&#39s Unipass digital certificates.

The certificates allow IFAs to have a single user name and password to access all the industry websites they use.

Unipass has been created by industry technology standards body Origo. It is free to IFAs and non-regulated advisers such as mortgage brokers.

Webline will be offering Unipass to its 4,000-plus users and IFAEngine, Bankhall&#39s exclusive portal, will make the service available to its 5,000 users. Cofunds says it has already received 70 registrations.

Origo hopes these additional users will help boost the numbers of IFAs using Unipass to 10,000 by the end of the year. It estimates it has almost 2,000 IFAs already signed up directly with Unipass.

Webline managing director Paul Holland claims the Unipass certificates will make the financial services industry more cohesive and efficient. He says: “It takes all the hassle out of it and will save IFAs a lot of time and effort.”
