Webline has announced the extension of its data integration capability with Bluecoat Software.
This expanded facility allows the users of Bluecoat Softwares specialist product, FinPlan, to automatically transfer additional data from the Webline platform and save it directly in FinPlan.
The data could include quotations, comparisons and new business submissions.
The service is expected to go live with this month’s release of FinPlan. It exploits Webline’s open architecture data feeds to create a complete business process to generate all compliant documentation including full audit trail of the quotation and e-submission.
Webline says this will save time and improve efficiency as it reduces the opportunity for error.
Webline executive chairman Paul Holland says: “With the arrival of new regulations and in particular, online FSA reporting, there is increasing pressure on intermediary firms to manage and streamline data in an efficient and accurate way. The new extended service between Webline and Bluecoat will enable FinPlan users to streamline their business processes, reducing the need for manual data entry and ultimately minimising potential errors.
Bluecoat users can now choose to import information from the Webline system and have it saved seamlessly in its back-office, including quotations, product comparisons, personalised illustrations, key feature documentation as well as e-submissions.”
