Veteran billionaire investor Warren Buffett says he will continue with his daily routine depite having been diagnosed with stage one prostate cancer.
In a letter to Berkshire Hathaway investors, Buffett described the condition as “not remotely life-threatening or debilitating”.
Tests have shown no traces of cancer elsewhere in his body.
Buffett says a two-month treatment of daily radiation to begin in mid-July will restrict his travel but not his daily routine.
“I feel great – as if I were in my normal excellent health – and my energy level is 100 per cent,” he adds.
“I will let shareholders know immediately should my health situation change. Eventually, of course, it will; but I believe that day is a long way off.”
