Virgin to convert all pensions to stakeholder

Virgin Direct has gained regulatory approval to automatically convert all existing personal and group pensions to stakeholder plans in April 2001.

Marketing manager Gordon Maw says Virgin’s low-charging, penalty-free pensions mean customers will not need to transfer to an alternative stakeholder plan.
