Virgin claims trackers beating active funds

Virgin is claiming that passive investment funds have consistently out-performed active ones over the last three years.


There were four tracker funds in the top 25 per cent of funds in the UK Growth and Income sector according to a recent survey including the Gartmore UK Index and Virgin UK Index Tracking.


Virgin says that the four trackers in the top 25 per cent all maintained their performance over the last three turbulent months.
