Vertex head of financial services leaves firm

Vertex managing director of financial services Mark Charlesworth has left the firm.

The financial services outsourcer says Charlesworth, who joined Vertex in September 2008, has left to pursue other interests.

Robert Coyle, who was most recently chief operating officer of Vertex’s financial services business, replaces Charlesworth.

Coyle is a chartered accountant and has spent nine years of his career at Capita.

Vertex chief executive Paul Sweeny says: “Our clients tell us that our Financial Services offer is a major contributor to their success at a time when customer satisfaction has never been more elusive.  I am delighted that Robert will be leading the business and I look forward to working with him as we continue to invest for our clients.”
