Veritas Launches Global Income Fund

Veritas, the fund management boutique set up by Newton founder Stewart Newton, is launching a global income fund, to be managed by James Harries.

The fund is a Dublin based Oeic and will invest predominantly in global equities, with an ability to hold fixed interest and currencies. It will aim to produce a high and growing level of income, with an absolute return in excess of a global index-linked benchmark.

James Harries joined Veritas from Newton where he was responsible for the Newton Falcon fund and was a member of the Newton charities team.
Veritas chief executive Charles Richardson says: “A global income fund complements our existing range of Veritas and real return funds and is run with a discipline that suits current markets.”
