Venture capitalist under fire from senior member of CBI

Venture capitalist have come under fire for failing the economy because they are pre-occupied with large management buy-out and technology businesses says the Financial Times.


Confederation of British Industry chairman of small and medium enterprise council Colin Perry attacked venture capitalist saying the concentration on these types of companies is unsustainable.


He claims that focusing on such a narrow band of companies is &#39self-defeating&#39 as it will pushing prices up and therefore affecting potential returns.
