American-listed ETFs and exchange traded products have broken through the $1 trillion (£644 billion) barrier in terms of assets under management, according to BlackRock.
According to the American asset manager and ETF provider, American AUM last week reached $1.027 trillion.
America alone hosted 894 ETFs with assets of $887.2 billion from 28 providers on two exchanges.
Over the year to date, 171 new ETFs have been launched in America. Another 828 new ETFs are in the pipeline. Meanwhile, only 49 ETFs have ben delisted.
There were 185 ETPs with assets of $115.5 billion from 20 providers on one exchange.
