Unum protection sales up

Protection specialist Unum has announced a 47 per cent increase in sales from £29.4 in 1999 to £43.2m in 2000.

The income protection specialist also saw its IFA sales increase 42 per cent last year.

Unum says with only one in ten adults in the UK owning income protection there is much more opportunity for further penetration in the market.
