United Assurance to cut 160 staff


United Assurance has announced plans to cut 160 head office staff. The job losses will mainly effect temporary and agency staff


The move forms part of a reorganisation of the company&#39s sales and management structure for its ordinary branch business. It is intended to create cost savings and operational efficiencies.


The restructuring also sees the company redesignate its 109 branch offices with 60 becoming sales offices and the remainder focusing on collection activities.
