All IFAs currently subscribing to’s enhanced advertising package are featured on the new “find an IFA” application.

The application is free to download and users type in their postcode to find an IFA close to where they live. The results page details the eight best-matched IFAs according to their distance from the specified postcode.  The user is then able to go on to view further information about the IFA and call or email the IFA directly from the application, or visit their website. chief executive Karen Barrett says: “Our new iPhone application is the latest in a long line of cost-effective marketing strategies, which currently generate around half a million, high quality and well-matched consumer leads for IFAs each year.  With the iPhone revolutionising the way consumers search for information,’s ‘find an IFA’ application now caters for those who are downloading applications as well as searching online.”

  1. How many people with an Apple device who are looking for an IFA do you think will bother to download and use the app when they can just Google for IFAs in their area?

    Business owners can register their business for free through the Google local business centre at so it may be hard for some to see the benefit of a subscription fee to appear in the listings.
