FIXED RATE MORTGAGES


Fixed term: Until October 31, 2003.


Fixed rate: Option one – 6.39 per cent, option two – 6.69 per cent, option three – 7.25 per cent and option four – 6.99 per cent.


Minimum loan: £15,001.


Maximum loan: Options one, two and three – up to 95 per cent of valuation subject to a maximum of £125,000, up to 85 per cent of valuation subject to a maximum of £249,999, up to 75 per cent of valuation subject to a maximum of £499,999 and up to 50 per cent of valuation subject to a maximum of £500,000. Option four – up to 100 per cent of valuation subject to a maximum of £75,000.


Income multiples: Three times principal income plus second or 2.5 times joint.


Arrangement fee: Options one and two – £295, options three and four none.


Redemption fee: Option one – 5 per cent until October 31, 2001 then decreasing by 1 per cent a year to 1 per cent until October 31, 2005. Options two, three and four – 5 per cent until October 31, 1999 then decreasing by 1 per cent a year to 1 per cent until October 31, 2003.


Conditions: All options – only available for properties in Scotland. Options one, two and three – compulsory buildings insurance. Option three – remortgages only and option four two compulsory insurances from possible four.
