Troy hires Gabrielle Boyle from NewSmith

Gabrielle Boyle has been appointed as the manager of the £59m Trojan Capital fund.

Boyle joins Troy Asset Management from NewSmith Capital Partners, where she was the lead manager of the NewSmith Global Alpha fund. She has also worked at Lazard Asset Management during her career.

Boyle will also join Francis Brooke, Sebastian Lyon, the chief executive of Troy, Hugo Ure and Sean Beck as part of the investment team running the £58m Troy Spectrum fund.

Troy has promoted Ure and Beck to investment manager positions. Both joined the asset manager in 2009.
