Trigold teams up with CII to offer users special rates

Trigold Business Academy has teamed up with the Chartered Insurance Institute to offer its users cheaper rates on course materials.

Advisers who use Trigolds’ Prospector software can now take advantage of specially packaged courses should they wish to obtain the CF1 and CF6 mortgage advice qualifications. Special rates are also being offered for more specific qualifications, such as the ER1 for Equity Release.

Trigold business development and marketing director David Aylmer says: “We’re obviously delighted to be able to offer our users this terrific opportunity. The academy is helping brokers up and down the country develop their skills and target additional income streams.”

According to Aylmer, a survey conducted by the firm last year found 60 per cent of brokers were not yet qualified to give advice which is why this link with CII “is so vital”, he says.

CII head of business development Steve Aspinall says: “With Trigold being used by seven out of 10 mortgage brokers we’re very pleased to be supporting the academy to promote the benefits of further education and qualifications to advisers. We share the aims and principles of the academy in helping advisors develop themselves and their businesses.”
