Transact opens up connect days to non-users

Transact is opening up its adviser connect days to non-users of its platform.

The connect days, usually open to Transact users only, will be open to all advisers for the first time this year.

Transact managing director Ian Taylor will open each meeting by giving an overview of the previous financial year’s events, followed by guest speakers including pensions expert Ros Altmann, Technical Connection director Tony Wickenden and JP Morgan Asset Management head of UK retail sales Mike Parsons.

The six-day series kicks off in Glasgow on September 15 and concludes in Harrogate on September 30, stopping at London on September 17, Bristol on September 22, Sutton on September 23 and Knutsford on September 29.

Transact head of marketing Malcolm Murray says: “Every year we have had some excellent outside speakers who have covered topics of more general interest than purely Transact. This year will be no exception.”

A blurry projection

The FSA has gone to great lengths to ensure advisers are taking heed of its pension switching review findings and changing their suitability processes accordingly.
