Towry Law adds Six Sigma to masters program

Towry Law has announced the addition of the Six Sigma business management strategy to its masters program.

Six Sigma is a methodology that seeks to identify and remove the causes of defects and errors in manufacturing and business processes.

Towry Law says thirty-three members of its client facing and operational staff are initially being trained as Six Sigma experts and, with these skills, will further assist the company with its programme of continual improvement.

Head of operations and IT David Percy says: “We are excited about expanding our masters programme to include Six Sigma, providing additional skills and qualifications for our operations team.

“The Towry Law masters program continues to chart new ground in the development of employees within the wealth advice industry. We expect this initiative to have a highly positive impact on clients and employees alike.”

If anyone thought that Jason Wyer-Smith would disappear from the social radar when he left Virgin Money to set up 42PR, they were very much mistaken. He is batting about London on behalf of clients such as comparison website GoCompare, so it was good to catch up with him on Wednesday. He was meeting up with Pathom’s Phil Thomas who runs the website lse.co.uk – no, not the stock exchange or the university but a handy little site called London South East which he has cleverly turned into a financial services resource.
