Towry appoints products manager from Coutts

Towry has appointed Coutts financial planning product team director Ed Colyer as manager of products in its client proposition team.

Colyer has worked under the Coutts and Royal Bank of Scotland brands for 15 years, including as product development manager, financial planning advice services manager, and head of regulated products.

He will be based mainly in Towry’s Birmingham office.

Towry head of product Michael Pos says: “This is a significant appointment for Towry’s product team. Ed Colyer has a proven track record as an innovative and highly commercial product manager and his experience both developing and delivering new products will benefit our clients.”

Last June Towry appointed Coutts head of private banking Kate Turner as head of advice policy. She had previously been at Coutts for 14 years.
