Tories promise cheaper private company medical insurance

The Conservatives have promised cheaper private medical insurance to employees and small businesses if elected in the General election expected this spring.

Tory shadow health secretary Liam Fox says the party would create a cheaper insurance scheme, which could see premiums fall by as much as 30 per cent, to cover many people who cannot currently afford PMI coverage.
