TMO launches buy-to-let mortgage range

The Mortgage Operation (TMO) is launching a portfolio of five products in response to the increasing demand for buy to let mortgages.

TMO marketing director Frank Butler says: &#34Recent figures for buy to let mortgage sales over the last three months total £290 million – an increase of 36 percent compared with the previous quarter.&#34

TMO&#39s new products offer fixed rates from 6.24 per cent and cater for landlords with multiple properties, limited companies and borrowers with an impaired credit record.

He says: &#34Demand from tenants for good quality rental property outstrips supply and investing in property can be lower risk than investing in shares.&#34
