TMB launches online tracking system for packagers

From today, all packagers and brokers will be able to access their clients’ offer documents online, through a new system offered by TMB.

Mortgage offers will now be available in PDF format for all applications submitted online, allowing them to print in their own office.

Users will then no longer have to contact their TMB processing centre for a faxed offer while waiting for the paper copy to arrive.

The broker or packager responsible for the case can access offers via a number of options, they can continue to receive emails when the application reaches ‘full offer produced’ status and the email will include a case tracking link which will provide access to the offer documents.

TMB managing director Nigel Payne says: “Allowing users to access offers online will cut their administrative burden significantly. They will now no longer have to chase for product updates or worry about postal delays and any offer queries will now be solved more effectively. This improvement is a practical step and one which both brokers and packagers will welcome as it allows them to offer a quicker and much more efficient service to their clients.”
