Tim Callaghan set for Gartmore exit

Gartmore fund manager Tim Callaghan looks set to leave the firm as the group plans to restructure its European desk.

Callaghan, who manages both the European growth and focus vehicles, will see his funds pass to the head of the European desk Stephen Jones in the interim.

Callaghan is the latest Gartmore employee to have their job put in limbo following restructures. Last week saw multi-manager head Bambos Hambi and investment trust head Jim Tennant placed in a similar position following restructures.
