Threesixty launches protection panel

Support service provider threesixty has launched a protection panel comprising Legal & General, Friends Provident, Scottish Provident, Scottish Equitable Protect, Standard Life and Scottish Widows.

The panel will offer enhanced commission rates to advisers on term assurance, CI and MPPI products and will be a free service for threesixty clients. It will include a free quote system through Assureweb.

Threesixty says IFAs will not compromise their ‘independent’ status by using the panel because providers are filtered from a rigorous and fair assessment of the whole of the market.

It says the panel is reviewed quarterly and providers are tested against benchmarks for competitiveness of premiums, service level agreements and complaints. Providers not meeting required standards will be removed from the panel and replaced.

Threesixty partner David Ingram says: “Using the panel does not mean IFAs will be enhancing their commission at the expense of clients because only products that have rates competitive on the open market are made available. Everybody wins with this service.”
