Threadneedle finalises Sicav range

Threadneedle has launched a new Sicav range following the integration and restructuring of the World Express investment funds which were acquired from Standard Chartered.

Since its acquisition in May 2009, the Luxembourg-based Sicav platform has undergone a restructuring to ensure it complements Threadneedle’s overall product line up.

As such 16 funds will now be under its management with a further seven funds managed by sub-advisors.

Head of Distribution for Asia William Lowndes says: “We’re delighted to finalise our Sicav offer, which marks the start of an exciting period of growth in Asia. In particular, it provides us with an immediate entry into the Taiwan market where we see a great opportunity for our investment skills.”
