Thomas Miller recruits Towry director

Thomas Miller Investment has appointed Matt Swatton to head up the newly opened Birmingham branch as the company seeks expansion in the UK.

Swatton joins the company from personal financial advice and investment management firm Towry, where he was a director of wealth management and financial planning.

Thomas Miller Investment managing director Matt Phillips says: “I am really pleased that we now have a presence in Birmingham.

“We want to increase our footprint across the UK and this is part of our plan to do so. Matt’s expertise will help Birmingham and the surrounding areas benefit from the broad range of financial planning and wealth management services that Thomas Miller Investment offers.”

Thomas Miller Investment recently acquired wealth manager Broadstone Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum, and currently holds £2.9bn of funds under management.

The company’s investment and wealth management teams are based in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Southampton and the Isle of Man.
