The protection challenge

Get the full lowdown on developments in the protection market and have a chance of winning a car

Manchester will be the venue for this month’s Money Marketing Live and will once again feature an arena dedicated to the protection market. Taking place at the G-Mex Centre in Manchester on October 31, the Protec-tion Zone will provide intermediaries with an insight into the latest products and services on offer.

In the seminar programme, Pioneer Friendly Society chief executive Andy Chapman will identify the major issues facing the protection industry and how they can be tackled by providers and intermediaries.

Topics covered include the debate surrounding sales of non-advised protection products if the consumer appreciates the price of non-advice?

In a special industry panel debate chaired by Association of British Insurers head of health and protection Richard Walsh, experts will debate how advisers can maximise their protection business and explore consumers’ attitudes to protecting themselves and their families.

Also speaking will be chairman of the ABI critical-illness working party Nick Kirwan, who will offer insight into the latest developments regarding the latest definitions of each critical-illness insurance.

The exhibition at Money Marketing Live will feature over 80 product and service providers, with some of the offshore industry’s major institutions participating. To find out more about the Protection Zone at Money Marketing Live and how you could win a car sponsored by RBS Intermediary Partners, please visit www.money marketinglive.co.uk or phone 020 7970 4577
