The Mortgage Business fills Scotland and N Ireland post

Buy-to-let and self-certification lender The Mortgage Business is appointing Jim Wylie as regional development manager for mainland Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Wylie joins from First National Mortgage Company where he worked exclusively with the Scottish intermediary market. Wylie was formerly with First National Bank.

TMB director, sales and marketing Keith Street says: “Jim brings a wealth of experience to TMB. This will help us build and develop new and existing relationships with both Scottish and Northern Irish intermediaries.”

With markets kept open on Saturday, finance minister Arun Jaitley delivered a promising budget focused on growth and decentralisation. While many complained about a six-day working week, there was much to be pleased about and the markets rallied in the afternoon to finish in the green.
